An awesome night for the LAKERS!

Lakers are 6 - 1!  We beat Bloomington Kennedy 25-9 and 25-10.  Great job!

We close on Monday!!  Moving in some boxes throughout the week, but the big move is next Friday August 2.  Very excited!

15th place...

Tough morning once again!  Girls played hard, and our middle hitter-Grace, left the court with a pretty bad sprained ankle.  Maddie filled in, and played very well, but they still lost the last match.  Finishing in 15th place.

We are going for the consolation division once again......

The girls had a tough morning.  Lost the 3 matches, but not without a fight.  The scores were close, and the volleys were so exciting to watch.  Us parents were exhausted just with all the cheering!  

So.....just like last year....we are fighting to be consolation winners tomorrow.  We play at 11am.

Here is plan for tomorrow for all who are following.....and the scores from today.

If we win both matches.....we will be in fourth place standings for Friday.  Let's hope they can do it tomorrow.  Was a rough day today.  Played VERY hard teams.

Update...

We had a win :-). We won against Washington State.  Then we had to play the Texas Madfrogs.  This team won the Qualifier in Minneapolis, and is a really good team.  We lost our first set 26-24, and then we lost the second one, too :-(

Not sure where our 3 losses and 1 win put us, but we hope we have a better day tomorrow.

Tough morning so far....

First match we played against Michigan....lost both sets :-(. Then we played the Puerto Rico team, and again lost both sets.  Rough morning with the girls.

Play again in 1 hour.  Hopefully we can pick it up a little.  Have to win the next 2 matches to stay in the running.

Kennedy space Center.....

On our free day....Michael wanted to go here.  We had alot of fun!

By the Atlantis exibit.  We were bummed it didn't open until June 29.

We did a tour that brought us out to the actual launch pads.  This one was for the shuttles.  Since they have now retired....these are open temporarily.  It was so cool!

This rocket was from the Apollo missions.  HUGE!
