Update on Maddie.....

     Well, we went in for a second opinion today.  An ankle surgeon that I work
with examined Maddie's ankle and X-ray.  He feels strongly that she indeed
has an incomplete hairline fracture of the fibula just above the ankle.

     Maddie is now in a more sturdy boot for at least the next 2 weeks.  She will
not be playing this weekend, but sadly will not be playing in Omaha :-(. She
is so upset and sad about this!  But she is ready to cheer on our team.  The
surgeon said one wrong jump could complete the fracture and take her out for the season....so the boot is looking better.

      Hopes are to wean the boot
after Omaha, and start back in gradually. Say some prayers that recovery will be good :-)

Maddie's first real job!

Maddie started her first real job today!  She is growing up fast! She is working at the concessions at the volleyball warehouse where she plays volleyball.

She was a little crabby after her 6-7 hours of manual labor!  

And....she has a wonderful boss .... Her mom!  ☺️  I really feel short !! 

Burrrr....

Fun times out in the cold today :-). Jenn volunteered with Michael's school today for their Snow shoeing in Phy ed.  Was a lot of fun :-). Pretty cold here!  Governor just closed all MN schools for Monday.  Expecting colder weather to come this weekend!!
